WEBHOOK RELIABILITY LAB / DEMO

Three deliveries. One intended order.

Retries are normal. Duplicate business actions are avoidable in a carefully designed integration. Replay a fictional order below to see the difference between a raw handler and a handler that remembers an event key.

What a production test should include

  • Replay the exact same event ID.
  • Deliver two different event IDs for the same business order.
  • Send simultaneous duplicates.
  • Make the downstream API time out after accepting a write.
  • Deliver events out of order and verify the final state.

This is a local simulation, not a production connector. Real protection requires durable storage, an atomic uniqueness rule and safe handling of downstream API timeouts. A stored event ID alone does not guarantee exactly-once delivery across two systems.
